Overnight stay at a hotel.
After breakfast, we negotiate the traffic out of Kathmandu city and ride out towards the check post at Nagdhunga. From here on the road becomes narrow and steep with sharp bends all the way till Daman. One can also view the mountain panorama including Sagarmatha (Mt. Everest at 8848m), the highest peak in the world. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.
Today we take a winding road to one of the finest preserved national parks in Nepal, called Chitwan National park, home to the endangered one horned rhino. We’ll have time to explore the town and its people at their daily lives, at leisure in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel. * Due to the immense cruelty involved in elephant rides, we don’t recommend elephant safaris to any of our riders/guests.
The road from Chitwan will lead us north towards our lunch in Mugling. The afternoon will see us riding through villages and farmlands until we reach the vibrant town of Pokhara. This is a great opportunity to explore the lively Nepali nightlife scene. Dinner will be had at a local restaurant. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Soon we’ll leave the tarmac behind for some exhilarating off road routes that provide an abundance of river crossings, fantastic mountain vistas, picturesque, terraced farmlands and an opportunity to walk on one of Nepal’s famous suspension bridges. There is a continuous change in the topography with every twist and turn until our arrival at Kalopani. Dinner and overnight stay at a guest house.
We’re in for a day through some of the most amazing landscapes of the Kali Gandai river, tackling a large river crossing in Lower Mustang while surrounded by gigantic mountains. Dinner and overnight stay at a guest house.
There are fantastic views of the Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Tukuche (6920m) and Nilgiri (7061m) en route. Todays’ sceneries include rugged landscapes, beautiful cascading waterfalls, orange and apple orchards, scattered roadside villages and ancient Buddhist monasteries to take your breath away. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.
After a quick stop in Beni, we set out following the trail along the river and then after about an hour meet the main highway at Maldhunga and continue on tarmac to Pokhara. The rest of the day is free to relax or explore around the Lakeside Bazaar. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.
Pokhara is a beautiful, modern and busy town surrounded by high Himalayan snowcapped mountains overlooking the Fewa Lake. A stroll around the Lake is highly recommended. Activities such as paragliding, bungee jumping, zip flying and ultra-light flights can be booked at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.
We’ll take the Pokhara / Kathmandu highway and after lunch, we’ll ride through a valley to get to Nuwakot. The red clay hillsides make a sharp contrast with the blue of the Trishuli River. Nuwakot, the “City of nine hills” has carried a long history of the entire country and is located in middle of nowhere. Spend your afternoon at leisure, strolling down to the village and spending time with locals. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.
We’re off to a lovely start with a stroll around Nuwakot Durbar (Palace) at the top of a hill which is 7km away from the headquarters of Nuwakot district. Nuwakot Durbar is a historic site with ancient wood carvings and sculptures dating back to the seventeenth century. From here, towards Kathmandu, please exercise extra care with curves and oncoming traffic from Kathmandu. Overnight and dinner at the hotel.
Check-out is at noon and from there, you’ll be transferred to the airport for final departures according to your schedules. Should you wish to extend your stay and require our assistance, please let us know in advance, so we can assist with bookings accordingly.
